What is CMEDP?
The CMEDP is a public-private partnership dedicated to supporting a vibrant, diverse, and stable economy for Moffat County. Area business and community leaders have been committed to economic development efforts for over twenty years and from that effort the CMEDP was officially formed as a non-profit 501 (c) (6) corporation in 2002. Currently CMEDP is funded through contributions from the City of Craig, Moffat County, and many private businesses.
The CMEDP is an approved Enterprise Zone project; therefore 25% of the value of your contribution is eligible for a Colorado State Tax Credit. If you contribute $1000, you can deduct $250 from your Colorado Taxes when you file at the end of the year.
